Application Stack
Domains and internet delivery
Serve each application through its managed HTTPS address, and attach verified custom domains when the plan includes them.
Managed address
Every production application and pull-request preview receives a separate public hostname. RustaBase maps that hostname to the intended healthy release while keeping machine and cluster addresses private.
Custom domains
- Open the application's Domains tab.
- Add the domain you want to use. The number allowed depends on the plan.
- Create the DNS record shown by the console.
- Wait for verification and certificate issuance.
- Open the domain over HTTPS and confirm the intended release is served.
Protected routing
- Public web traffic enters through the RustaBase edge rather than directly reaching the application host.
- HTTPS is terminated at the public entry point and traffic is routed to the selected application.
- Untrusted forwarding headers are removed and validated visitor context is forwarded to the application.
- Application delivery and backend API access are separate paths; browser requests do not pass through the database.
