Getting started

Import and export

Move data into and out of your Project safely, whether you're migrating, seeding, or keeping your own copy.

Export

  1. Open Import and export in the Project console.
  2. Choose the tables to export.
  3. Download the file and store it somewhere safe.

Import

  1. Create the tables and fields first.
  2. Take a backup of the Project.
  3. Upload your data file and match its columns to fields.
  4. Check a few records, then run the full import.

From code

For large or repeated imports, send records in batches from a trusted server.

const batch = rb.batch();
for (const row of rows) batch.from("posts").upsert(row);
await batch.send();

No lock-in

Your data is standard PostgreSQL. You can always export it and take it with you.
